By creating an account on Type Platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

The service

Type Platform provides infrastructure for independent type foundries to publish and sell typefaces. We are not a marketplace — each foundry operates its own storefront under its own brand. We provide the tools; you run the shop.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One foundry per account. You must be the rights holder (or authorised representative) for any typefaces you sell through the platform.

Font licensing

Typefaces sold through Type Platform are licensed under the terms set by each individual foundry. Type Platform is not party to those license agreements. Disputes about purchased fonts are between the buyer and the foundry.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Type Platform takes a platform fee on each transaction. Current fees are listed on the pricing page. Payouts are made to your connected Stripe account.

Prohibited use

You may not use Type Platform to sell fonts you do not have rights to distribute, to engage in fraud, or to circumvent Stripe's terms of service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. On closure, your storefront is taken down and your data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Liability

Type Platform is provided as-is. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime, data loss, or disputes between foundries and their customers.
